JB HERY

Champagne J.B HERY is a family-owned company producing wines of Champagne with status of Négociant-Manipulant. Located in the heart of Champagne area, in the historical downtown of Châlons en Champagne, capital of Marne, the company is managed by Jean-Benoît HERY. This wine House built in 1900 on the hillside of « Mont Saint Michel » is the entrance of the beautiful and impressive chalk cave network called « Crayères ». During Gallo-Roman times, chalk from these caves was extracted to build major buildings in the city. Over the years, these amazing caves have been used by our ancestors to produce wines of Champagne. This rich history allows J.B HERY to maintain tradition and to produce Champagne in the most authentic and artisanal way, which involves long ageing in our cool and quiet chalk cathedrals.
